Chapter 4: Memories of eyes made of Coal (Part I)

Snow fell from the steely sky on a cold December evening. The halls of St. Ovaria private school lie uninhabited, everyone must have left for the day. Pops late again, most likely at the hospital with mom, Doctors said it won’t belong. That it was best we spend what little moments we had left.

I sat on the bench next to the pale red lockers, feet swing to and fro. I gazed out the clear double doors at the road, any moment now Dad would be pulling up in that old 97 gray Nissan Sentra. As time passed, so did my hopes of seeing that Nissan, maybe tomorrow I guess. As I stared out into the snow-covered field, a snowman took sentry over the lonely winter wonderland. Ever so vigilant, standing watched as the many children scampered into the cars that carried them away to their warm and loving home. He and so many other alike reigned over the snowy plains. With all the humans bunch up together around one another, they were free to do as they please in absolute secret. This was their land, the land of the Snowmen.

Chapter 3 (Final V)

“Well, I don’t mean to take too much of you folk’s is time. My name is Sheriff Walton-”

“Walton? As in Alice Walton?” Kassidy interjected.

“The same.”

“Omg, it’s been ages! Do you remember me?”

“Ha! Ha! Ha! As I said before, I know just about everyone around these here parts, and you know different Kassie.”

Evidently, in time passed, the sheriff and my wife shared fond memories with one another. Kassidy, a dainty, brash, fun-loving country gal from Cusseta, Ga running through woods barefoot in the soft mountain soil., and Alice, a tomboyish ruffian who knew no fear, always striving for the next adventure. Then again maybe it was the other way around? That it was Kassidy, the wild child who moved outward to the big city of Atlanta, gradually adjusting to city ways and Alice was the Fragile country flower that matured to the robust woman standing at our door today. Time has a way of changing some people.

“Let us not be rude, would you like to come in? We were just about to have breakfast.” I offered.

“Hey yea, we can catch up for old time sake” Kassidy added.

“I thank you, but and as nice as that would be, I’m afraid I must decline this time around. There are other matters that beacon my attention and other homes I need to reach out to before then, so I’ll have to hurry right along. If you haven’t already, I’m telling you now that you may want to either stock up or hurry on back to the city. The weatherman tells of massive snowstorm heading our way. Shouldn’t last too long, a couple nights at the most, all honestly you folk should be fine if all was aim to do was spend quality time together than I wouldn’t cut out early.”

“Oh, well thank you, Sheriff,” I said with my hand extended out.

“No thank you for the time and for bein’ so gracious.” Sheriff Walton brace my hand into hers. Warm and rigid, the hand density of person that worked hard for everything they own.

“It’s always a pleasure to see a familiar face, who knows, maybe next time I’ll take you folks up on some of that fine eatin’.” Sheriff Walton tipped her hat to us again with that cheery smile. She hoisted herself up into her SUV and cranked up the engine. It bellowed a gust of exhaust as she rolled downed her window. “Y’all have a good one ya hear.” Sheriff waved backing out.

It wasn’t long before she was no more than fading cloud of dirt and snow.

“I think we’ll be good, although we probably should head into town and stock up on a few necessities.”

“Yea and YOU need to call the Grands and let them know we won’t be back for Christmas.”

“Shit that’s right! The kid’s presents! Well, we did have half the gifts still tucked away and wrapped so they should be good. Besides Mommy and Daddy coming back from the north pole with even more gifts should send them into a frenzy of joy.”

“Good thinking King, be sure to let them know that, I’m hungry and I’m sure the food is about lukewarm by now so I’ll warm up Breakfast and you get a movie set up for us to watch.” Kassidy kissed my lips and sauntered on back into the bedroom, I soon followed suit to set up the TV for a bit of Netflix, breakfast, and that rekindling of flame, Sheriff Walton spoke of

Chapter 3 (Part IV)

There was another stiffen blow, Kassidy stood behind me, nosey as always, I answered the door before they could get a second good hit in. A burly woman stood in a relaxed dignity posture, her hand rested on her hip while the other one balled up at the ready for another knock before I disrupted the flow.

“Morning, folks.” the Sheriff flourished one of those genuine warm southern smiles, tilting her Stetson.

“Good morning Sheriff,” I replied returning the smile. The Sheriff scanned us up and down taking in our lack of clothing, a quick glimpse at my Ford coupe, then back at us.

“A retreat from the city, eh. Rekindling a bit of the old flame?” Keen eyes I thought to myself.

I chuckled a bit from embarrassment. “That obvious?”

“I know city folks when I see’em and I know just about everyone around these here parts. Also, I don’t see too many folks around her with stallions like that there.” She nodded her head at my ford. Her southern accent was deep and proud. With each passing word that left her southern belle lips, I could only reflect on a much simpler upbringing, one completely different from that of the city.

“No, we only come here once a year for a winter getaway, you know time away from the busy city life.”

“Is that so?”

“Yes,” I said. “Two boys, a four and five-year-old and we both working a full-time job, oh it’s much needed.”

“I know what’cha mean. Two Teenage daughters that alone is enough to make ya wanna get away.” The Sheriff took off her hat, brushed back her brunet hair, and resettled it back to the lining of her brow. The badge that crowned the center of her hat glittered in the morning sun. Her hands rest back down at her side on her belt. The gun on her hip wasn’t standard issue, but a later model sidearm, a Smith & Wesson model 19, it gleamed at the very touch of light. It was well polished, well taken care of.

Chapter 3 (Part III)

Again, a knock could be heard, this time a lot more firm and deliberate.

“Baby someone’s at the door.” Kassidy gasp trying to catch her breath.

“Let’s ignore it and maybe they’ll go away.” I advocated while kissing her neck.

   Knock, knock.

Kassidy took my face into her hands, staring me in the eyes,

“My King, go see who it is and the faster you see who it is, the quicker you can send them on their way, so we can play.” Those hazelnut eyes had a hypnotic allure to them before I could think of a rebuttal she was alright out of the bathroom and out of the bedroom. Those beautiful thick hips swaying here and there underneath her robe.

   Knock, knock.

I glanced out the window next to the front door, from there you could see the driveway. Present was my black Ford coupe and parked behind it a second vehicle. A black SUV loaded down with lights and antennas Sheriff with a star in the rear was decal alongside the doors. Puzzled I glanced back at Kassidy, she, shrugging her shoulders, was even more baffled than I was. Kassidy was loud but not enough to have the law called out on us. The nearest set of neighbors were some miles out down the road. This cabin, hand built by Kassidy grandparents, was the last of its era; sitting at the top of this southern mountain terrain. From here on up belong to the woodland creatures. So, even more, reason the query as to just what could have warranted a visit from the local authorities.

Chapter 3 (Part II)

“Yea I’m com-,” I opened the door to a snowy woodland scene. “Ing?” There was nobody there. Baffled, I looked left and right in hopes that just maybe I could see who or whatever it was scurrying off. Merely snow and bare trees devoid of their foliage were all I could see. Knock, knock. Just when I closed the door, again I could hear knocks, without hesitation I swung the door opened. Standing at less than a foot, was a squirrel with an acorn in his clutches. I guess my abrupt answer frighten and dropping its treat, it scampered away into the woods. I shook my head with a smile turning around, closing the door behind me.

Back in the kitchen, I finished getting the food ready pouring half a cup of morning coffee. I added spice and topped it with whipped cream, my infamous Christmas coffee, the wife loves it. Only here in the cabin do I bless her taste buds with this special mug of joe, and to make it even more commemorable; I always pour it into the handcrafted Christmas mugs we made on our very first date together. Kassidy wrote “Mr. Nice” on one and I did “Mrs. Naughty” on the other, both in Christmas themed writing.

Kassidy had just finished her shower when I stepped into the room with a tray full of food. The bouquet of a southern cooking crammed the air with nostalgia. Placing the tray on the bed I walked into the bathroom, Kassidy was standing in front of the double-wide mirror moisturizing her beautiful coffee with cream skin. Wrapping my hands around her voluptuous waist, I held her close exhaling the aroma of her sweet bath and bodywork lotion. That sensual Amber always knows how to get my blood rushing. I rubbed my dick against her ass through layers of black sweats and lace trim kimono robe. Undoing the front of her robe, I trailed my hands up across her breast. Fondling her supple nipples between the middle and index of my fingers. I watched us in the reflection of the mirror as I took my other hand down your abdomen, the sight of your Tiger stripes just made the view so much sexier, I was on a solid ten now. I stroked my fingers to and fro across the wetness of her slit.

“Yes, King, Yessssss.” Kassidy hissed between the moans and groans of her pleasure. Kassidy rocked backward and forward, riding my fingers. I stopped playing with her breast taking hold her neck, whispering just how much I love her into her ear. Our lips braced one another, tongues playing back and forth;

     Knock, knock.

Chapter 3 (Part I)

Large flakes fall from a colorless chill heaven, a warm glow, the scent of burning wood filled the inner layer of our cabin in the still southern mountains. The scenery was stunning and tranquil, I could almost taste the freshness of the morning crisp air. Through the large glass window, I can view the snow-covered trees all grouped together in silent formation around the vast serene lake. I held her nestle tightly in the folds of my arms, she slept so peacefully untroubled by the notion of the outside world. I smiled caressing my fingers through the curls of her starry night hair, basking in the afterglow of the morning after a night filled with passionate lovemaking.

Morning rays filled the cabin with a natural warming light. The aroma of breakfast filled the atmosphere; fresh farmed eggs, hot thick grits with cheese, pancakes made from scratch, the sizzle and pop of fresh bacon. Being the oldest of two out of three to a single Pops had its perks, one learning how to cook. After the death of our Mom, it was hard growing up in a single parent household, I had to grow up quicker than most. Pops worked long manual labor, so it was up to me to handle the home anyway a young man could. Eggs, my very first dish ever made, of course, it wasn’t the best, but a few cooking shows and grandmas help later it was the very first of many master dishes.

            Knock, knock.

Immediately as I was plating the food, a subtle but firm knock came from the front door. Taking a slice of bacon into my mouth I checked my watch and it read 7:48 in the morning. The nearest town is about thirty minutes out, for the hell of me, I couldn’t fathom who could be this far out this early in the morning. My curiosity peaked I cleaned my hands and hastened to the door, once my hand touched the knob a few more knocks sounded off.

Chapter 1: “A Single rose as my Garden, A Single Heart My Kingdom” Part 3

Soft Nubian flesh cuffed around my neck,

“What’s on your mind my King?” my ears tingled at the lax whisper of her warm breath.

“Memories… sweet memories.” I retorted reaching behind with my hands full of her voluptuous rear.

“How about we make more?” Kassidy posed licking the sensitive spot behind my ear; my knees buckled every time she did it, without a hitch. I turned taking hold of her hips, pulling Kassidy in breathing space. No words were needed, just action; our lips braced one another like long-awaited lovers.

Kassidy placed her hand on my lap and started stroking my growing member through my pants.

“My King is he aching for my mouth?” with my hand caressing the side of her tender cheek, I stared into her lustful diamond brown eyes.

“Of course, my Queen, he’s craved the warmth of your kiss since your tease on the drive up here. That truck driver half way up almost crashed at the sight of your performance.” I chuckled.

“Shhh….” she placed a finger over my lips.  “Enough talk my King.”

Kassidy was right. The time for talk was over the moment we shut the door from the cold world. The time in the Cabin would be for us to make love, fuck, or whatever our sexual devils desired.

Chapter 1: “A Single rose as my Garden, A Single Heart My Kingdom” Part 2

I slowly steered my 2015 Ford Mustang coupe up a winding hill, sheets of snow blanket over the towering trees and forest floors. Classical Christmas music played from the radio; Kassidy taking the time to check on her business and the kids, once at the cabin our phones were off and her parent, who every year looked forward to our away trip because they adored having the children over, would only be able to reach us by the landline in the cabin. This was not that type of business trip, so there was no point and bring work up here, at least not that type of work.

We arrived at the snow-covered cabin, almost instantly memories of times past of family camping trips and previous winter sexual explorations filled our minds. Nostalgia at its finest, back when it was all so simple before we had to “Find” the time for one another. I looked over at my beautiful wife she was wrapping up the conversation with the kids and her parents. Knowing them it was going to take a little minute, so I took the time to unload the car.

The cabin door swung open with a creek, I dropped the last of the lugged at my feet stepping down the steps, the cabin always looked so different in daylight. I glared around at all the fund memory. My eyes leisure amidst the ceiling, immediately they were drawn to the paper mache stars and moon we made the first night here with the kids. Vaguely I smiled as my eyes continued to wander. The counter that separated the kitchen from the living area came into view. All I could do was marvel at the many times I sat my Queen across the top, drinking the wine of her chalice, fucking her so passionately until we conceived our first born.

Chapter 1: “A Single rose as my Garden, A Single Heart My Kingdom” Part 1

Every year we took time in the winter to come up to the family cabin in the mountains to rekindle a night of long stifled desires. Having kids and both of us running a business had that prolong effect of filling our time, that it became rare that we had any spare minutes for just us. I Nero had developed into what I feared most, a workaholic and so did my beautiful wife Kassidy.
I was the IT director of an ever-expanding hospital and its surrounding clinics. Constantly I was in and out of meetings and phone calls. When I did have downtime, it was dedicated to my heirs, Queen, blog site and books. Yes, even with everything on my plate I was also an author of a few well-published titles. A King must maintain some sort of wealth for his kingdom to prosper.
Kassidy was the sole proprietor of a clothing and custom online jewelry business, “Luna Petals” she calls it. To add to her ever-growing success, she’s also was well-known publish author and of course a great mother and wife. She was the epitome of a superwoman; the Queen to my Kingdom.
With all that we do throughout the year, before the Family Christmas tradition, My Queen and I had our own tradition that always came first.

I Love her

Soft, white silence suffocates the mountain noise, a moment calm, honest, and seamless. Snow white stained in a deep seething red.

A blanket of ice settled perfectly still around me. My hands crimson with the ink of blood, she was frozen. Not by the icy winter wind but by time. She was forever captured in these last fleeting moments of this tragic stage.

My Heart, my Wife, my Queen, she held a penetrating stare to my gaze as the sticky red fluid pooled into the snow soiling it lush pure beauty.

Standing there fixated on this twisted tragedy was Him. Watching with smugness through those damn beady eyes of black pebble. His face snow pale with a grin made of stones sculpted a crossed its chilly surface. His twig thin arms up in celebration for the condemning of my soul.

He did all of this, from the moment I uncovered his secret and failed to save an innocent, he has played as the author and illustrator of this long drawn out novella of retribution.

Now, this winter stage serves as the climax as the curtains are drawn. As the lights dim a faint whisper could be heard

I’ll suffer hell’s penance for the sins of killing the one I love.
